Hi my name is Beth and I am currently a page on the Access floor of the New York Public Library’s Library for the Performing Arts. As a person that is interested in theatre and history, I truly believe that working for the New York Public Library’s Library for the Performing Arts is the right place for me. Being able to combine my love for history with theatre, I believe that working within the archives of this library would allow for me to share my passion with the community. I enjoy working with the community to bring awareness of how the history of performance can inform the future. By understanding that everyone has a different background and that can affect how we learn about the history, I believe that we can create a program that will allow for all patrons to find this space to be one that is comforting and open to all.
